Vocational Skills

Equipping our students today, with the skills of tomorrow.

Sekolah Keterampilan Putra Putri Sumba (SKPP Sumba) is a community-based vocational education initiative that equips young people in Sumba with practical skills, strong character, and real-world readiness. The program was established to respond to limited access to formal education and employment opportunities, especially for youth facing economic and geographic barriers.

Currently, SKPP Sumba runs active skill classes in Karaja class (traditional ikat weaving), sewing class, ecobrick and environmental skills, music, and public speaking, combining local wisdom with creativity and life skills development.

Looking ahead to 2026, SKPP Sumba plans to expand its programs by introducing computer and digital skills classes, enabling students to access broader opportunities while remaining rooted in local potential and community values.

Tangible skills are taught through our SKPP classes.
