Who we are
English Goes to Kampung is a non-profit organisation in Sumba, Indonesia, which has been active since 2016. Our holistic approach to English education enables Sumbanese children to dream big and gain the skills needed to achieve their goals.

I want them to live better and succeed in achieving their aspirations for the future. To do so, they need access to better opportunities, and they must learn, work, and develop self-sufficient life skills.
We must also be prepared for the realities that globalization brings to Sumba.”
